Jim Jordan - Owner/Team Manager

Jim's full time job is Merchandizing Manager for Mazda North American Operations. Jim's passion is Auto Racing.

Jim began racing while still in High School, and raced his first professional race at Sebring Florida in 1976. He has spent his whole career racing what are now called "Sport Compact" cars, racing professionally in Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), and Professional Sports Car Racing (PSCR) events. Jim has several major wins, including two wins at The Longest Day at Nelson Ledges 24-hour race, and the Toshiba California Grand Prix at Sears Point. The past two years Jim has, for the most part, moved out of the driver's seat and into the role of Team Manager. As team manager, he has helped two young drivers win Professional Sports Car Racing's Rising Star Award for 1997 and 1998.

Jim has been in the Automotive Industry most of his life. He began working as a lot boy at a small sports car dealership at age 16. He put himself through college by working as a mechanic, and also worked as a car salesperson. After a short career teaching, Jim returned to the automotive industry first as a manager of a retail parts store, then joining Mazda as a Technical Training Specialist. His career at Mazda has spanned over 12 years in a variety of jobs including District Manager positions in Sales, Service, Customer Support and Advertising.
